The first "Sunday at Starbucks" went over really well, so let's try it again. This time we will move to the Starbucks in Lewisville. This one is located on 1171 just west of Garden Ridge. It is on the south side of the street and we can park on the west side of Starbucks. There is ample parking and we should have lots of room to park and mingle. Since Easter is the 16th and the Primavera Texana Del Motore is on the 29th, I suggest we do it on the 23rd, say 10:00AM. So, who's with me on this one. :D

The 23rd is also the All British (and European) Car Day at White Rock, so the party can move on after coffee.

For those you entering your car in ABCDE, the show field opens at 10:00 so you need to be arriving no later than 9:30....

YIKES; I did not mean to step on Bob and Jerry's feet! If you all want to put this off we can certainly do so. That way anyone who wants to attend the White Rock festivities will not be disadvantaged.

Imola is also on the 23rd. Anyone want to get together and watch it?

I noticed speed doesn't seem to be showing it. Anyone know what channel it's going to be on?

Don - please change date if possible!

We will be in Italy that weekend for the San Marino GP. I have a horse show on 6 & 7 May, so that wouldn't work either for us.

    Carol

Nicola - try checking CBS for delayed same day coverage of the San Marino GP. I saw on Speed that it's on their sked for a week later. If all else, watch it live on the computer.

I don't think this is Bob abd Jerry's deal. They stick with the eye-talian stuffin the fall. Unless anyone's entered in the show, they'll be able to do both. The ABCD goes until 3:30.

Not sure if I'll be able to make either at this point, but would be a nice little group drive from coffee to White Rock.

    Don,

ABCDE doesn't have that much overlap with our crowd, although there's some interesting vehicles for certain. I agree with Chet, a caravan down there to check out some Morgans and such would be interesting.

FYI: CBS's website shows Imola on a tape delay at 9 AM our time.

Y'all could start the Starbucks fun a bit earlier if you are worried about Bob & Jerry's show. Anyone that needs to be at the show to enter can just leave early, but will get the best of both worlds.

DRAT!!!!! I was hoping that the tape delay would be at about 11 or so and then we could all caravan to the "Flying Pig Cafe" or whatever it's name is and watch the race. Oh well, so much for the best layed plans of mice and men. However, if anybody was interested, I could record the CBS coverage we could do Starbucks and then if anyone wanted to saunter to Whiterock they could and for anybody else we could all migrate to the house and watch the taped tape delay.

I suggest we leave Starbucks on the 23rd, as there's always a few with conflicts no matter which date we choose. Up to Don the Rose as to the gathering time. Re: the British show at WRL, visitor parking on the SHOULDER of the road?? Hello!

P.S. Check the local schedule for San Marino; its showing noon on the TIVO Guide.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!!!!

There has been a small change in plans for the second Sunday at Starbucks. We will be meeting at approximately 10:00 AM on Sunday at the Starbucks at 1171 and Garden Ridge. Then about 11:30 AM we will depart for the "Old Town Flying Pig" restaurant, which is located at 165W. Main. Why, you ask are we going there? Because CBS is running the tape delay of the San Marino GP at noon and I have arranged for a table seating 15 to 20 people and parking for 10 cars. We can then watch the race on their big screen, quaff down some brewskis and burgers and hopefully watch Ferrari pick it up a little. Now, who's with me on this one? If you think you can attend the watching party put up a post so that I can call the Flying Pig on Saturday afternoon. Hope to see a bunch of people there.
