Now that the weather seems to finally cooperating and most of the snow has receded (at least in Southern New England), it's definitely time to take the battery chargers off, top off the tank and head out for some fun.

This Sunday is the start of what promises to be the most exciting - and contentious - Formula 1 season in years, what with new technical rules, new cost restrictions, new KERS technology, and (already) new controversies. Will new team Brawn F1 come out of nowhere to take a podium position in Australia on Sunday? Will Lewis Hamilton find himself failing to make it out of the first qualifying session? Will Kimi have to be the #2 driver at Ferrari?

Due to the time zone difference, you'll either have to watch the race on your TIVO... or stop slacking and come join us for a SUNDAY DRIVE and Group Viewing of the (tape-delayed) race on Sunday!

We'll meet up in Burlington, Massachusetts for a group drive to the most popular sports-bar in New Hampshire - "The DRAFT", located at 67 S Main St, Concord, NH, just off of I-93. We'll have the entire VIP lounge area to ourselves, where you can't turn your head without being able to see the race on yet another giant TV. Please RSVP to Laurie Sanborn, NH Chap President at [email protected].

The drive will start from the parking lot of the Barnes & Noble in Burlington MA (right off of Rt 128/I-95, across from the Burlington Mall). There's a Starbucks inside for your morning caffeine fix, then we'll drive up en masse, departing at 10:15 am (please let me know if you're planning on coming up with us). The race will be shown at the Draft starting at Noon.

Feel free to bring family, friends, whomever!

    vty,

    --Dennis

Depends on the weather. If we get a respite, then we'll take more interesting roads. But the viewing is on, rain or shine, so come on out!

... hope everyone caught qualifying today! No spoilers, but will say - WOW. Who'da thunk it???

We're on for the ride in the morning, and am expecting to see a few of you. Will bring a few door prizes too, and the event is on rain, or shine, so come join us in Burlington or we'll see you at the Draft!

    vty,

I assume they show the tape delayed repeats during sunday afternoons/night. For this race, we watched a prerecorded tape/disc that someone brought.
