    Since Saturdays weather looks unacceptable for our usual coffee and cars is anyone interested in a last minute change to Sunday? Starbucks on 202 and DilworthTown Rd.? Jon in Delaware

    From what I understand...some people come out in the rain too. I'm up for either day...or both.

    I know they do. Its just that the rain makes keeping the car detailed such a pain in the A_ _ that its hardly worth it. Plus you cant do any spirited driving due to the slippery conditions on the secondary roads. I will be at Starbucks at 8AM if anyone wants to join me Sunday. Jon in Delaware

    8am is beyond my comprehension for tomorrow...maybe if you sip your coffee reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal slow, i could get there later....besides, if I show, you may try to lure me into buying the 599 that was recently traded to Algar.....or, better yer, maybe we should work on Jon for THAT one!!! hmmmmmm

    Don't worry Joe, both of those 599s are sold so the coast is clear for you...for now. You really have no excuse anymore. See you guys tomorrow if I can make it. Only I would decided it's time to go down town at 10:18...

    Fun day guys. Just finished cleaning the Noble and tucking into bed. What a suprisingly beautiful day for a morning drive through the contryside. Colors are still soooo spectacular. It seems all the leaves should be off the trees by now. What happened to Alex and Dave?? Did we loose them or did they bow out early. Sorry if I lost you guys!! Next Saturday?? Jon

    I ~think~ Dave broke off...he went left instead of right at one of those stop signs and I did get parted from the group a little bit but more decided to try to find my way home. I'll be there next Saturday!

    I checked out early.

    Couple things I dodn't find very comforting.

    1. Boxster and I are relative newcomers to each other. I still have a bit of driving to do before I'm really comfortable behind the wheel.

    2. Tight schedule. Needed to be home by 10:30 or so and we were winding farther and farther from my home base.

    Both lead to an early exit. Although I did find going around in circles (well, roughly circles) amusing during the last part of my trip.

    Saturday it is.

    a slightly earlier take off time would result in more driving for me. Sat and Sun mornings are really only good for me till about 10-10:30

    I dont know the official name but around my house they are known as "Monkey Balls". Not very appealing as a name. I broke one open once expecting to find a nut or something. They are filled with NOTHING!! What a waste of a shell. Expected to find some exotic nut!! Not a Ferrai enthusiast kind of exotic nut but a nut none the less. Jon
    PS Dave we were done at 10:15 as I had to meet the Daughter at 11AM. You would have been home by 11AM. Oh yee of little faith!!

    I thought the monkey balls were the little small brown things. These things looked like full blown tennis balls that left the roads nice and mushy.

    LOL, no worries...I spent too much time debating whether to follow you guys or follow Dave since I kinda figured he was breaking off. We don't go every week, but sometimes we do.

    If we get out of Starbucks at a reasonable time a drive is always on the agenda. the problem with times past during the summer is its fun to just hang out by the cars and fchat it up. Next thing ya know its 11AM and the rest of the day seems to be slipping away so we tend to break up and go home(albiet in a spirited way). I think we will more likely go for a drive during the colder months becasue there will be less hanging around the cars in the lot due to the chill in the air. See you Saturday the weather is looking fine AGAIN!!!!! Jon in Delaware

    The drive this week was great. I had a blast. Just hearing Jon's Noble backfire and scare the sh*t out of the horses was amusement for me! As the days get colder, I am thinking I will offer to have the Saturday gatherings at my dealer (in West Chester as well). Plenty of parking, and room for hanging out and chatting etc. That way we can keep warm.

    Will you make Joe his green tea? Can I still get a mocha Latte 1/2 caf 1/2 decafe with one percent milk? What about Dave who doesnt drink coffee and buys a water every morn? This is a big responsibility you are taking on!! Dont want the crowd to get ugly. that being said it sounds like a good idea!! Jon in Delaware
