Sunday Morning Coffee at Starbucks

I have gotten into the routine of going to Starbucks on Sunday mornings around 8:00 in Aurora/North Aurora on Orchard by Indian Trail to sit with a cup of coffee and admire my 308 - weather permitting, of course. Last Sunday I followed my routine and was driving my usual route to Starbucks behind an older Porsche and was hoping he was heading for Starbucks as well but he ended up going to Panera . . . Anyway it got me to thinking that maybe I'd float a posting just to let some other locals know I am usually there and thought it would be special if others (F-cars and others) wanted to join in. That time is good as the lot is not crowded at all.

Just another informal gathering opportunity. I plan to be there this Sunday - again, weather permitting. Hope to see others there.

PS: I am still interested in getting an F-Car dinner going before the snow flies at Villa Verone in Geneva. . . .

 

Looks like the weather is going to cooperate for tomorrow morning. Hopefully other F-cars (and others) can make it. Again this Starbucks is on Orchard just north of Indian Trail. I will be there around 8:00 AM.

 

Anyone see the post in the North Midwest Region area titled "Cars & Coffee Madison Wi Every Sunday"? That is what I was hoping for in starting this thread. Looks like they have an excellent turnout of Ferraris and other great cars.

I am still holding on to hope that others will show up. Weather permitting I go to the Starbucks on Orchard between I88 and Indian Trail in Aurora every Sunday usually getting there between 7:30 and 8:00. So far it has been pretty lonely.

It would be great to see some fellow F-chatters there! Looks like a perfect weather weekend!

 

We had a great morning at the Starbucks in Aurora on Orchard. Gerry328 joined us for coffee and great conversation. Can't beat the weather!

Needless to say there was still plenty of open parking for others to join us with their F-Cars or other rides.

Hopefully this will be the start of a great weekly informal gathering as long as the weather cooperates.

We hope to see others join in!

For anyone needing a caffeine fix before the FCA Italian Village event or those who can not make the journey downtown, my wife and I will very likely be at the Orchard Road Aurora Starbucks again this Sunday morning around 7:45 AM (weather permitting of course). Great location just off I88 with plenty of open parking before 9:00 AM. Last week Gerry328 joined me and the rest of my family for some fantastic conversation. For those of us who struggle with being able to devote a full day to an event, this is a great alternative.
