Seeing another array of drive pics from SA (wish I was there!) got me thinking. Apart from WA, we rarely see pics on this board of exotics out in the sunshine together in the nice roads around Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

There must be a reason for this. Is it because the Vics and Queenslanders on the board only go to the track? Does anyone in Sydney actually own and drive an exotic? Is there another board in Australia where all the pretty cars are on display?

I think its just a matter of someone being there with a camera, as I doubt you would see many pics from WA if I wasn't there - not many others bring along a camera.

Then you have those who think everyone has seen a red Ferrari anyway so whats the point.....

Maybe the owners in those other states are so old they still have a film camera and its too much effort to scan and upload the photos. :p

Dont see too many exotics on Bris roads like WA, they are there, but not driven very often i guess. :(

Rog drives his everyday to work.... but you'd only see him early in the morning or late in the evening going home. As for the Porsche and Ferrari Clubs up here... i've only ever been to the trackdays. Would be nice to get out on a club run and get some nice pics...... one day perhaps (Rog gives the yes or no as to whether there is or he wants a pax.)

I don't know if Rog gets out on the club cruises much, i assume he saves his credits for track outings..........

I live on the northen side os Sydney and very very rarley she exotics, i she that little i get excited if i see a newish boxster lol, i saw a ferrari a week ago and i was like yer!!!, i had the camera there but the time i got it out of the bag and then turn it on it was gone, and he was driving faster then the rest of the traffic. I dont think that i have ever seen a lambo in sydney :(, but its a large city and i only get around the north of it, dont do into the centre of the city that much, but from looking on here you would think that all the ferraris and lambos r in perth and adelaide.

How far north do u live? You sound like u live in the outskirts. Come to the actual city of Sydney you would see alot of Lambo's/Ferrari's on a weekly even daily basis. Visit the Ferrari/Lambo dealer plenty of cars there :p

Even North Sydney when I used to work there Id see Ferrari's on the Harbour Bridge nearly on a daily basis and plenty of exotica around.

I have noticed that there are very few actual owners from sydney on this board, and the club runs are typically the usual 6-7 suspects. Don't know why though

They all have a life maybe? :p haha.

It could be lack of net skills. This is an American site. I found this site from the Lambo power site haha.

I know alot of Ferrari owners track their cars here in Sydney due to the Burrows Days are usually full of Ferraris.

Hmmmmm, guess who decided to go on a scooter ride instead of taking his red Ferrari on today's club run?

Had a ball. as far as i'm concerned, i made the right choice. i can drive my ferrari any time!

but did you take the CSL ??

I was having a nice duel with John Yule until we both started to suffer what seems to be fuel starvation and the qvs started misfiring until we fueled up again ... weird

I took some pics and posted in another thread but we are a secretive lot in the deep north, and strangely enough do now how to use computers since we got electricity last year :p

We went for a spin up to Toowoomba to a winery taking all the backroads from Ipswich out to Gatton and then onto Clifton and then Toowoomba, I saw a few good straights and seeing as how I hadn't opened the qv up decided to give her a squirt which RayH and JohnY took as a green light for some playtime and fun was then had (naturally I won :p)

Yeah it was the CSL or nothing pretty much.
Saw the pics, the QV's looked great. JY's Blue Chiarro QV was the inspiration for my Father's TR being that colour. It is a lovely car.

Theres never been much more than about 5 Ferraris at any one Burrows day, its predominantly a Porsche day with one or two cup cars aswell. The rules have changed though, so cup cars aren't invited anymore

    I hope you had a pax. cause I didn't get a phone call :(

I have wondered about a SE queensland run as there seems to be a fair few around now, though I don't think a non-owner like me should goad others into it. It would be nice though.
