The little nub on the center of the dash is listed in the manual as a "sunlight sensor." (There is also a separate temperature sensor listed.) What does the car do with the information gained from the sunlight sensor?

Bonus Question: The manual differentiates between the 360 Modena and the 360 Spider. So...is the 360 Spider also a Modena? I know that in previous posts it has stated that they are ALL Modenas...but the way the manual discussed the topic, it seems to differ.

By the way, I have learned the hard way NOT to call it MO--Dain--A...you could get shot by an Italian! (It's something like MOD..en..A...after Modena, Italy.---sheesh...in the US we should be able to pronounce it any way we want...they same way we change every other word to suit our taste.

I think I found it. It is a sensor for the A/C control...right?

Correct and the Modena is a Modena and the Spider is a Spider. The names in no way interchange.

Right, because a 355 Spider is not also a Berlinetta(sp?).

My daily driver has one that controls the auto-on headlights as well as the climate control.
