Philly doesn't have Kyle Shanahan calling pass plays instead of run plays :D

Yeah, but when Philly loses - ANY team in Philly - we are not allowed to discuss it with you....

Philly killing the Chiefs in the SB has made me a Philly fan.....I was actually rooting for Philly because I think Saquan is a class act.

Mike, you are an intelligent, thoughtful and insightful man with impeccable judgement and taste. But why are you on F-Chat was it's trade deadline day? Canes in the middle of a wild ride last I read this morning.

I think most people that 'know' football knew Philly was going to win.

Yes, I live 200 miles from KC, yes, I root for KC - but above all - I root for GOOD games.
And there are a handful of other teams I root for along with KC - and I do not have one single
piece of any teams' colors, no hats, no t-shirts, no sweaters...

Any of us that paid any kind of attention this past season could SEE that:
KC could not block, KC had no serious running game, KC could not figure out which WR to use,
and because of that, their defense was on the field A LOT, which tired them out.

I was not surprised at all at how Philly manhandled them, but still, I would not have bet on that game
one way or the other. I think I said somewhere else I knew it was over 7 minutes into it.

Ditto....that was anything BUT a good game, unless you are a Philly fan. I wanted to see a good game, similar to last year's SB and the one 2 years ago between KC and Philly. Those were two good games where the outcome was undetermined until the final play of each game.

This year's SB, it seems it was over (as you stated) 7 minutes into the game.

I meant season-long good games, not just the SB.

The SB actually bores me, it seems like some players play like they are 'just happy to be there'.
KC smelled like that this past SB, a lot of players looked like they were just going thru the motions.

For the 2-3 months prior to the SB, all I heard was how GREAT of a coach Andy Reid was,
    but after the SB, crickets....
He IS great - it's just funny how all the 'great' talk disappeared from all the sports radio shows...

Also funny is that before he won his first SB, there was NEVER any talk of how "great" he is, all the talk was that he was clueless at clock management in big moments and a choker of big games (the Eagles-Patriots SB, and the playoff game vs Tennessee when Alex Smith was KC's QB are two examples that come to mind).

Kyle Shanahan now holds the choker title.

Yeah, since he was the OC at Atlanta and could not hold a 28-3 lead,
and then went to SF with a great team and did the same...

I also think CmC is toast, I have no idea why all the pundits think he is still GREAT.
He will drop off a cliff just like Dalvin Cook did, Melvin Gordon did, Zeke did, and
Johnathan Taylor and Kamara are currently doing. Even Emmitt Smith fell off a cliff overnight.
When RB's go bad, they go bad IN A HURRY - and it's not always injuries.

There are some anomalies, but they are few and far between, such as Adrian Peterson.

Aiyuk and Deebo are two of the most over-hyped players I've ever seen.
They are very good, but nowhere near what the Press makes them to be.

Frank Gore is another one. I think he still could have played 1 more year.

Totally agree. Especially Aiyuk. The mistake Shanahan and Lynch made was to renegotiate when he still had 1 year left. You simply tell him, either report to training camp, or we will fine you daily until you do AND you will not be drawing a paycehque while you hold out. How long do you think he would hold out if that were the case? I say he would haver reported immediately to avoid the fines and the missed paycheques. They had all the leverage in the world, yet they (Shanahan and Lynch) acted as though Ayiuk did.

I think ALL the owners should collude and hold every player to their contract,
and if the player sits, he sits, and at the end of the season when his contract is up,
he is a free agent - and NOBODY picks him up. Period. He's done-ski.

Yeah, the player's union may get involved, but what are they going to do, cry because
    a player scrooed himself?

Sure he can sue and call it collusion, but is it? His contract expired, he was not re-signed but was now a free agent,
and then possible new teams/owners didn't pick him up based on his antics of not honoring his current contract, the
    one that just expired...
