Superb- seeing the famous David Piper 250LM in Action

Words cannot describe how fantastic this car sounds, the scream of that 3.3 liter V12 leaves on in awe, as does the sheer beauty of the car, it may be green but at heart its very much red. Also around was one of the famous P4's, wow, this is quite possibly the most the beautiful sports cars ever made, to see and hear it running together with the LM was amazing. Seeing racing Ferrari's here in South Africa is a rare priveldge and you dont realize how lucky you are in the US in this respect.


The event was a classi race meeting, lots of UK entries, some orginal AC Cobra's and the thundering Lola T70's and a Porsche 917, all these cars capture an era that I regard as so very special and as such its always a priveldge to see these cars driven in anger.
