Nobody predicted a Denver win let alone 24-10.

    Von MVP. Pay the man.

Hats off to Kubiak. His strategy worked. John Elway the football mastermind.

I said it before: if the score is 24 or below, Denver wins.

    Well done Broncos

Impressive stuff. Certainly the fastest I've seen in my ~20 years watching. :)

    Happy for Peyton.

    Thought Cam "underperformed" some.

    Cheers,
    Ian

I think Cam was hurt. Physically. I have been a big Cam fan all year.

I was so dissapointed when he acted like a spoilt brat in the post game interview and then walked out in the middle. He needs some maturing.

Can you imagine Brady, Manning, Breese, Rodgers, Eli acting like that. Really sorry. I loved the guy. Really.

54.4 passer rating. His worst this season.

it was +160. Good payout. So the big question is, how much of this profit needs to be sent to Mr. Newton to get him into some decent trousers? :)

How did Cam not dive for that ball that he fumbled? It will haunt him for a while. It shows to a world audience that you did not want that ball enough, that you did not want to sacrifice yourself for the team-possibly risk injury! Your team was only down one score at that time-16-10 and you still had a great chance to pull out that game. I believe he actually jumped away from the ball when a defender lunged for it. On top of this all he acts immature at the post game conference and storms off early...not impressed at all superman!

The Panthers ran a Fisher-Price offense in which almost every play stayed in the middle of the field. Straight dropback passes, runs up the middle, quarterback draws up the middle, etc. On one play in the 1st half they ran an option play which Cam pitched (badly, as it was behind the runner) to the RB, & it went for 15 yards. Their game plan did not evolve at all to try and counter the Broncos superb pressure up the middle. It looked like some Les Miles LSU crap. (BTW, I can say that since I have 2 degrees from there!) Very poor job of offensive coaching by Carolina.
Add to that 6 major mistakes, 4 or 5 dropped passes, & a BS call or two, & PRESTO ... lousy Super Bowl.

+1000. I can't figure out why he backed off the ball as he's no doubt tough. But he did back off. Did he think the game was over?

The press conference was an awful reflection on him. Peyton was certainly gracious when they got their buts kick by Seattle. Mad skills, lacking leadership.

I believe Cam got hurt in the second quarter. Winced and grabbed his left shoulder.

    Hope he is ok.

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000634573/article/broncos-demolish-panthers-offense-say-cam-tapped-out

Cam was sacked 7x, hit 13x...the most of any game. His previous high was 6x.

We had a nice orange and blue sunset an hour into the game. Some neighbor shot off a bunch of fireworks after the game. :)

Cam handled the post game press conference horribly.

No excuses, but it is real life. I'm willing to bet he apologizes sincerley and profusely, and everyone will move on. It is a bad spot on an otherwise great season.

The game itself was pretty bad for both sides.

I think Charlotte is in a state of shock this morning.

I agree about the Panthers' receivers dropping too many balls....and the fumbles as well.

He was certainly beat up. You could just tell from the look on his face in the second half that he was totally out of steam. I can't remember the last time I saw him get sacked totally blindsided. I can only imagine what that sort of thing does to your game when you haven't had to worry about it all season.

Car was the highest scoring offense in the NFL. Den held them to 10 points. Ten. Amazing.

They averaged 31 points a game during the season.
