When I was a kid ... only twice did I ever see a Countach and I remember both times more than I do the day my twin brothers came home from the hospital. And in its day, it was unchallenged, it was the king of the hill. A Murci, while a slight step above the 550 in "supercar" status because of the wild looks, is outclassed by a certain segment of vehicles. So no, I do not consider Lamborghini a supercar anymore. Especially not the Gallardo, don't get me wrong, great car, but the segment its in is so overcrowded right now (430, G, Bentley GT, 911 T, Viper, SL65, Maser, etc) that these cars seem almost common place. I've seen so many Continental GTs, 911 Turbos, Maseratis, and SL55s/600s/65s that they're common place and barely get a second glance from me anymore.

I think of the "supercars", as the unobtaniums. The McLaren F1s, Enzos, CGTs, Bugatti Veyrons, McLaren SLRs, Zondas, and Koenigseggs.

I'm the opposite - I don't think of ANY Lambo as a supercar. I like many of them, as I do many F-Cars, but don't see how any of them can be called supercar. To me, it needs to be an exotic, with a limited production run, with much more power than it's "ordinary" counterparts : For Ferrari, it would be the big 4 - 288, F40, F50, Enzo.

I am truly saddened by the lack of creativity amongst our various members. Remember this guy (real or not) wants to outdo his neighbor. And the best anybody can do is some run of the mill Bugattis, Zonda's, CCR's, etc.

Now my choices would be, in no particular order:

1.) Osprey V22 Tiltrotor with the following cars in its belly and on a cargo hook:

    A.) Schumi's 2004 F1 Championship Car
    B.) A Bugatti "Atlantique"

2.) An AV8-B Harrier jet with the following slung under it's wings:

A.) A Figoni and Falaschi bodied Delahaye Roadster under the left wing
B.) An Auto Union V16 Grand Prix car from the mid 30's

    3.) An M1A1-HA Abrams tank towing a trailer with a Class "C"
"Little America's Cup" catamaran on it.

Or actually, since money is no object, how about all of the above and to top it off pick up one of those spare Russian space Shuttle knockoffs they made a few years back. Called a Buran. Probably pretty cheap.
