I heard that if you install it with one of those tornado things it'll add, like, eleventeen-hundred horsepower. In all seriousness I'd like to see some info on that - usually forced induction engines run lower compression, be interesting to see what kind of boost pressure they're running...

It was on Speed tonight on that (kinda new) supercar show.
Some guy at dealer in FL said it was going to be out soon..based off the 599 setup but thats all I could hear.

    Oh sweet Jesus!

Enzo black on black on black with twin superchargers tinted windows and balls of steel!

    Im in...

Its about time somebody has thought of it! Although I am sure we will see track differences with it. Low end torque will lower as well.. Hmm... Well we'll see! Sure it will be a beast!

100% agree. Especially considering that two out of the four Ferrari supercars are twin turbo charged. AND that an F50 was twin turbo charged and it was a KILLER.

    Cheers,

I saw it too. It was from that CEC company. Seems like they are really gonna do it. They said that they are getting almost 1000 hp from the 599 and seemed to imply that the Enzo will be more. I just wonder how many owners would step up and do this.

I suspect that it will KILL a Veyron. Even with a little less HP. And if it has 1000hp... well, that would be on the top for some time!

    Cheers,

Does Novitec take their motors apart before they supercharge them? IIRC, they get a decent amount of power out of their twin setups on the 430...

That being said, I still wouldn't be comfortable with a high compression motor and forced induction...besides, that V12 sounds just fine without a supercharger whine...performs just fine, too. :)

A Veyron-beating Enzo would be, uhmm, interesting. Pointless, but interesting. IMHO, that is. After riding in a tuned CS that ran on race gas I can't imagine why you would begin to think about 1000 hp, especially in a 3300 lb, RWD car...

But I guess if you're out to prove a point, it makes all the sense in the world.

Will be interesting to see what develops.
