While looking for a supplier of superchips (I have an early 348 using 2.5 Motronic) I found this strange product called the DragonChip.

Looks a little flakey to me!

Anyone have any experience with this??

Dude that thing's a piece of crap. Don't buy anything with japanese characters on it for your Ferrari, I think it varies the resistance from the coolant temp sensor to the ECU richening the mixture as if it was cold. The motronic system is always running at optimum power, so if you dump in extra fuel you'll probably lose 20 bhp. It's like a knob that determines how bad you want to burn your cats out.

If a knob with 5 bucks worth of parts on it could give you a bunch more horsepower don't you think Ferrari would have done it in the first place?
And their premise that dumping in extra gas gives you more HP flys in the face of physics.

    Brian -

Dude, you need to get out more often! I have seen emperical evidence that yellow tape covering the interior air vents can provide 22% more horsepower. Kids on the street well know that neon tubes generate a beneficial static electricity charge and provide nearly 12 extra pounds of torque.

A buddy of mine put a little propeller device into his air intake and his mileage increased 4 mpg, but we dynoed the car and it still showed a 34 hp increase.

What makes you think these clever folks haven't found a better way to harness the power of the internal combustion engine??? If Bernie would give them a chance, I bet they could win some F1 Constructors points too...

Also, fill you tires with helium. This lighten the car's unsprung weight DRAMATICALLY for better handling.
