Spring is here and I finally decided to familiarize myself with the settings on my 812. Everything was going fine as I passed thru STATUS, TRIP and VDA. Only when I got to SETTINGS did I make a mistake after I enable the PARKING SENSOR.

With the 812 parked in the garage, I was unable to stop it from alarming. Took it for a ride and still unable to return to the settings menu and disable it.

I don’t find a clear example of disabling the sensor in the manual. Anyone know the sequence.

Plus, how do you turn the right display into a digital speedometer? Is that also from the left controller?

Much thanks in advance. A great car with awesome acceleration even below 6,000 RPM.

    San Vincenzo:
    I hope this might help.

    1. Under the Right-Hand-Display are 3 rectangular buttons. The middle one will turn the parking sensors On or Off at any time.
    2. On the Left-Hand-Display again go past STATUS, TRIP, and DISPLAY and select SETTINGS. Rotate the large knob to arrive at PARKING SENSORS and from here you choose whether you want them always ON under 6 mph or not. If you don't deselect it here you can always use the button described in 1 above.
    3. Re: Digital Speedometer. On the Left-Hand-Display, press the Return Icon Button and rotate the larger leftmost knob until you arrive at RIGHT DISPLAY. Select "Digital Speed." Then..... go to the HOME button on the Right-Hand-Display and rotate the right-most-knob all to the left and select SPEEDOMETER. Now the speedometer will display digitally as selected.

These cars aren't Apple devices but WOW they are a lot more fun than an iPhone!

    Thanks Mike,

Changing the parking sensor setting under the Right-Hand Display did the trick. Prior to that I was unable to scroll through the Left-Hand Display settings. But now it is back thanks to your comment.

BTW, I'll try the Digital Speedometer setting for a while.

Agreed about the fun of driving an 812. If only there were more roads with less traffic.

    Best Regards,
    Robert
