    Dear All,
We don't generally post on FChat but I wanted to thank you guys for your kind words and positive responses.
We do try hard to satisfy our customers and keep on top of any issues that arise, so it is very much appreciated when that is recognised.
In this instance there was an initial problem with the parcel being over size. Which resulted in it being returned to us by our shipper. Rather than re-send it with an expensive carrier and to try and keep the cost down for the client we have been trying to use another high street shipper such as FedEx to re-ship what is a large part for a reasonable cost - if we get into freight companies the cost increases enormously - so we are making an effort to keep the cost down as much as is possible for our customer - and the parcel is being re-shipped today.

In terms of email. We always answer all emails that come into the building - without fail.
This particular email arrived at 3.10pm on this Friday afternoon, unfortunately Chloe our main email responder was off ill. However the email was still answered before 9.00am on this Monday morning. So even with Chloe's absence due to illness the email was still answered within 3 working hours.
We don't claim to be perfect, we are only human, but we are always here to help. We only got into this business because we love these cars and are lifelong enthusiasts. But when there is an issue that arises in almost 100% of cases it's nearly always down to some very easily explainable reason. Something we will do out utmost to explain to the customer and deal with in a timely fashion.
Thank you for letting me respond to this posting and again thank you all again for your understanding and kind words.

Thank you for your response both here and via email this morning. The confusion arose when I was sent email last week stating the items were at my local post office waiting for me to pick them up. That was clearly not the case and my subsequent email wasn't responded to due to the illness in your office. I appreciate your taking the time clear the air and I will now be a happy customer.

    Thanks,

    Skipp

Everything is relative...you could have a Corvette (which model?) and a Lear Jet, or no

Corvette and no Lear Jet. And, of you have a Corvette, you just like F-chat, right?

You are the best judge, actually, your accountant ought to be the best judge.

    Regards, Alberto

I have made numerous purchases from Superformance and have always been delighted with the extensiveness of their product line, their comparatively low prices, prompt shipping, and customer response to enquiries.

Thanks Anthony, I don't wish to be a pain, but SF is very willing and punctual,
so possibly I overstepped with my comments, but really...

Colin, you are most welcome here, I applaud your presence, and you might be surprised how many times we need your knowledge. Don't be a stranger!

Guys, on a visit, Colin even let me make a template of the bottom, as he knows how far I am at, and how far he was to go visit! Extremely generous, one must admit.

    Regards, Alberto

I do know all the crew at SF very well and can agree with most posters on the level of service which is renowned all over the world.

If it wasn't for companies like this then a lot of classic cars would be gathering moss.

Glad to hear its all cleared up and everyone is happy...................its good to talk!!

I have dealt with the guys at Superformance ( even before Colin bought em) for many many years and have had nothing but the very best experience. I have visited their old shop and new shop and have had nothing but the highest service from them. Ron Lusardi helped me many many times as has Collin & Mike...first class in all respects. This forum should be used to applaud the winners in this hobby not digress over small shipping issues nor the challenges of international dialing. These guys are top shelf.
