Some have said that castor oil is the best oil for racing period. I find this hard to accept as there are such good syn's out there, so is there real world experiance and knowledge out there for us doubters.

    For a 4 stroke..?
Is this just another "thought starter" thread...?
Who's selling Castor oil for 4 strokes?

In the world of "just as likely to blow up as to finish the race" 2 strokes... If you're flushing out the fuel system to get the methanol after the race anyways, might as well run castor so you can flush that out, too. I know it's popular in that world.

For a four stroke, yes they used to run it in the old Indy Offy's. Honest question, thanks for your answer.
