I just saw this last night. What a riot !!! Regardless of what you think of fast food in general and/or the style and theme of the actual film......it was an interesting and very humorous take on the subject of personal responsibility for the age we live within. Just for the record, I don't blame McDonald's for their excellent marketing which the filmmaker attempts to portray as the cause of why people who just can't seem to eat anything else don't. Frankly......if you "could" stomach 3 meals a day from McD's for 30 days in a row your stomach would be worthy of inclusion into the Smithsonian in my books. As for your brain however......well......that's another story. Go see it.......it's worth the money........just for the laughs. On a footnote.....while he gained 25 pounds in a month......another writer did the same thing in response to this movie.....but she ate the healthy choices on the menu as well as the bad, she kept her caloric intake within the FDA guidelines (he was doing twice as much as required) and exercised regularily.......and guess what.....she lost 10 pounds in a month. My wife & I saw it this past weekend. We really enjoyed it. Watching the guy try to finish off his first supersized meal was worth the price of admission alone.
Saw the movie about 2 weeks ago in NYC. Great documentary. I thought it was interesting that of the 5 most overweight cities in the country were in Texas...NYC wasn't even on the list
