Has anyone ever had the motor surge ?This happened to me today out of no where and for no explicable reason.Sometimes when I was in 1st gear or
neutral she wanted to rev out of control. When I kicked the accellerator
it kicked back down just like a stuck choke use to in the old days.Any feedback?

I heard about this happening to someone with a 430 in AZ not too long ago. There was video of it on here somewhere. The car stalled, then surged when re-started - all the way to redline. I think O2 sensors were the suspect.

oddly enough the carpet thing is no joke...I had it happen to me in my Aston v8. No fun when the car is just flying without your control!
