I may be in the market for a 360 spider so I'm
trying to research the possible pitfalls.
I've searched the archives for indications
of problem trends with these cars, and here's
    that I've come up with:

    1. early clutches had problems. Apparently
this was due to a design error in the
    early throwout bearings.
    2. seat height adjustment motors going bad
    3. dashboard backlighting going out (need to
    replace gauge pod for fix)

Have I missed anything? I'm leaning toward
an F1 model from 2001 or later. I really prefer
the 430, but my bank account disagrees with me.
Thanks in advance for any advice on known issues,
    maintenance costs, and reliability.

I just bought a 2003 spider with an F-1 with 2000 miles on it.

I love the car, but AM radio is static. The dealer said that is normal for Ferrari radios. Otherwise very happy with the car. I am on the waiting list for the 430
