As some of you know, I've spent the better part of the last 6 months rebuilding my front suspension. It was tough to find the time - as work kept rearing its ugly head... but I finally tightened the last nut over this past weekend!! I've decided to leave off doing the rear suspension as a project for this next winter.

This was a complete rebuild... including rack, bushings (a-arm and sway bar), upper/lower ball joints, tie rod ends, and new koni shocks. I did all the work myself... with some parts powdercoated, some painted with POR-15, and some zinc-coated.

Here are a couple of pictures of the finished work:

    Thanks guys!

The project, itself, isn't that tough... there are a few key things to follow:

    1. Buy 4 or 5 boxes of quart zip-lock bags.
    2. Every piece you take off, put in a bag and clearly use a sharpie permanent marker to label the part.
    3. Take lots of pictures from every angle you can imagine.
    4. Draw diagrams or cave paintings - whatever it takes to remember where stuff goes.
    5. Don't stress... everything goes back together - honest!

Yes, looks like new, now enjoy the ride. Look forward to seeing the work you do on the rear suspension.
