1999 550. On the info panel I backed out of the garage and had a silhouette of the car with triangles under the 2 left wheels. Book says suspension system problem. Any thoughts on how to analyze the problem. Thanks

Does it persist after you have restarted a couple of times? I have had that occasionally, but it has always gone away after I have restarted. If not, then you will need to plug it in to the appropriate piece of kit (I can't remember what it is called) to diagnose the fault. A dealer or specialist should have one.

Plenty of threads on the subject. Basically, if the warning persists, check the operation of the shock actuators and the condition of the gear the actuator works on on the top of the shock. I've broken 2 of the gears over the years.
