hi, new to the ferrari world with a 2011 458. i couldnt find any info in relation to suspension in the discussions page i noticed there is significant amount of squeal coming from the suspension at low speeds, especially going through bumpy roads or speed bumps is there something that can be done without changing to aftermarket ones? can the dealer do something to improve it without charging an arm ? thanks in advance
In some cases that squeaking noise can be coming from bushings that are dry and/or a failing shock. You might try removing the tires and/or get under the car and spray some Silicone into those areas and see if that helps. Even if it doesn't, it's good for the bushings and rubber stuff under there. If it's a shock that is failing, sometimes Silicone on the piston rod can help, but not always. It's worth a try though. Ray
Thanks for that, car just came back from service and I requested them to have a look at the bushings to have it cleaned. They re greased it as well but somehow the small squeaks are still evident Hopefully will become less in the coming days
