Relax its not a high production V12 - Ferrari production numbers hardly make a dent - the average cow puts out more methane pollution :p

Fair enough, me too in the 812SF.
But neither that or an FF or GTC is a heavy and tall SUV.
Have a look at the MPG of an RR Supercharged and then even worse….
Again, a V12 would be amazing in an SUV but I fail to see the logic of it on a daily drive….
    Hope I’m wrong….

This is not the place to debate climate change from a non-scientific perspective. "Hoax or not" is a P&R topic.

By looking at the Purosangue mules spotted with Levante bodies many have questioned the feasibility of putting a V12 inside their engine compartment. We know the Levante engine compartment isn't long enough to fit a Ferrari V12 engine but we also suspect, that Ferrari is using these mules body's just to fool us.
The picture below shows a GTC4 side by side with an hypothetical Purosangue and both cars have more or less the same length. The engine compartments on both cars have similar lengths and the fact the GTC4 already uses a V12 means that Purosangue with the proper design can accommodate this engine.
IMO the big challenge for Ferrari won't be fitting a V12 inside the Purosangue engine compartment but coming up with a design that is innovative and doesn't resemble any SUV and looks like a Ferrari.

I don’t think it will be an “SUV.” That is why from the outset they called it an “FUV.”
They were telegraphing their concept with that choice of terminology.
Essentially they want to create a “Quatroporte” with an enhanced rear cargo area, hatchback, and slightly higher ride height.
I envision a Crossover on steroids.
But it has to be not only beautiful, but it has to have that somewhat quirky Italian design beauty where there is just something about it that keeps drawing you in. Aston Martin has beautiful designs, but IMO they’re too tailored and some magic is lost.
Like Marilyn Monroe with that little black mole on her face.

Personally, instead of the FUV, in the large family tourism segment, I would have preferred a modern interpretation of the 400 with ... suicidedoors.

Let's say they did the best they could with the concept, and there's kind of a more classic approach. it should appeal to those who are not opposed to the concept.

Not to forget that Renault fitted an F1 V10 into an Espace! - oh,it didn’t live much space for passengers, but that’s a concept!

The "Purosangue" shown in the picture below doesn't look like an SUV and has an acceptable design that accomplishes all the requirements of a FUV by having 4 doors, more interior space, a larger trunk and an air-suspension for changing the riding height. If things in life were that simple and the company name wasn't Ferrari this "Purosangue" would probably be the natural evolution of the GTC4. Because things are complicated and the name of the brand is Ferrari the design of this "Purosangue" lacks innovation, isn't very sexy and if we remove the cavallino badges we end-up with a car that could easily be a Maserati.
For Ferrari won't be a problem overcoming all the technical challenges of designing the Purosangue however, coming-up with the right design seems to be much more problematic. Paraphrasing Italian fan the minimum we are expecting is a Purosangue like Marilyn Monroe without that little black mole on her face.
    Aren't we asking too much ? :)
