Purosangue it will be a fantastic car , no doubt….. but I grew up playing with a small red f1 Ferrari car when I was child … that was something special .. something that exists only in your toys, maybe dad garage and in a circuit .A SUV will , without doubt , change the dream i grew up with… but that’s life :(

The dream can live on with the Iconas, the V12 successors of the 812 family, and the VSs yet to come. There’s still a lot to look forward to, the Purosangue provides Ferrari with funds, security, and sovereignty (from large groups). That way the dream of Ferraristas can continue and the company can remain profitable and sustain itself in the future.

This Purosangue mule with the Roma's front lights was spotted today in Maranello. If my memory is right this is the first time a mule is spotted using this model of front lights and not the Levante's perhaps, suggesting, that the Purosangue will be fitted with similar headlights.

Let me correct you this time, as you kindly previously did for me a few weeks (months?) ago :) this is not the first time a Purosangue mule is spotted with Roma style headlights, but 3rd time now.

The wheel arches look larger on this mule compared to the other mules! Quite impressive to see that Ferrari will proposer a SUV sensitively larger than the Levante.

Thank you for the headlights correction because my memory has let me down again :)
Well observed the larger wheel arches detail and also the possible consequences it will have in the final design of the Purosangue body...

In case someone is interested in knowing the equipment for WLTP testing fitted at the rear of the Purosangue mule in the picture that was spotted yesterday, is supplied by MAGNA International, a technology company and one of the world’s largest suppliers to the automotive industry. Magna operates in different fields: Body & Chassis – Exteriors – Seating – Powertrain – Electronics – Mechatronics, Mirrors, Lighting – Vehicle Engineering & Manufacturing.

This Maserati Grecale mule crashed in Torino a few hours ago due to unknown reasons. Despite the camouflage being in blue tones it has several resemblances with the Purosangue mule.

That looks like a minor accident and I really hope no one was injured in this accident.
But, I - and I know some other do too - suspect this « accident » not to be an accident but done « on purpose » as a way to make the Grecale back under the spotlight, with all the media talking about it.

I have suspected a shared platform between these two. I’m sure we’ll find out in time if they are in fact shared.

I didn't even realize this model was being developed so it looks like it worked.

You're right the accident looks minor and by looking at the posted picture and others available I can't see any signs of the open air-bags.
If Maserati caused this accident to publicize the Grecale IMO the result has been exactly the opposite. If I was Maserati's marketing creative seeking for publicity on this Maserati I would have done something completely different with much more public impact like sticking a Grecale into a pot-hole in the middle of the busiest street of Rome like they've done with the car in the picture in a Toronto street.

The Grecale is a small SUV, nothing to do with the Ferrari platform, which will be shared with the Roma.

So a developed and wheel base extended version of the California Platform?? Isn’t the Roma the same as the Portofino which came from the Cali-T. Wouldn’t the Purosange be a developed version of the Lusso or new all together? ?
