Coulthard!!!! need we say more ??!! He's a ****wit and hopefully NOBODY takes this moron on next year.... of course it wasn't DC's fault ........ Fisi drove a good race and that Ferrari engine really helped him out in the race
Coulthard: 'It's just one of those things' Sunday October 10 2004 David Coulthard may be disappointed that he failed to finish Sunday's Japanese GP after colliding with Rubens Barrichello, however, the Scot has exonerated the Ferrari driver of any and all blame. Coulthard and Barrichello collided at the chicane while fighting over fifth place and although both drivers were able to limp their respective garages, neither was able to continue with the race. "It goes without saying that I'm really disappointed with the end to my Japanese Grand Prix," the Scot said. "We were looking to score points but unfortunately on lap 38 I had a coming together with Rubens at the chicane whilst he was trying to pass me." "I don't think anybody is to blame; it's just one of those things which happen when you are battling for positions." Explaining the damage to his MP4-19B, Coulthard added: "The incident broke the front right hand suspension and that was it. It was a shame for things to end this way, it would have been nice to have scored five points or even more." And although Rubens also sees the incident as a racing one, the Brazilian still believes DC is to blame. "It was a shame about the incident with Coulthard. I think I caught him by surprise, he didnt see me, closed the door and we touched. It was a racing incident," the Brazilian said.
Great race for MS and RS, they drove perfectly. The situation between BAR and Renault looks like its over. BAR are 16 points ahead. It will take a miracle for Renault to get 2nd place. And whats the problem with JV car? He said lots of understeer. When Jarno was driving for Renault on the last 2 races, he was saying the car had problems. The group who is working on JV car, are they doing a great job? Anyway I can't wait for the Brazilian GP, remember JV has won on that circuit in the past. And what about Fisichella! He overtook JV and JPM! Sauber are getting closer closer to the big teams.
Way way over, if JV in a Renault can barely beat out Trulli in a Toyota. There's no way Renault can make up 16 points with only one semi-competitive driver. At least JV doesn't make Alonso look as bad as Jarno did.
Here is the "incident between RB and DC It does look llike RB out braked him into the chicane and DC just didnt see him while making his turn in. http://lvbf1sims.net/screenies/RB_DC.zip
