Swapping seats right and left

I had the seats re-padded by a professional upholsterer so they regained their original shape. He also swapped the covers on the seats (not the seats but just the covers) so the wear on the leather was moved from the outer bolsters to the inners. When he suggested doing this I was a little unsure as I thought their would be holes showing where the hardware fitted through but there isnt?!

When I got them back I then just redyed them myself.
