Has anyone swapped a 550 suspension ECU into a 456m?

I wonder if it works without errors or if the 456 variant also has additional logic for the SLS (and by extension, swapping to a 550 shock ecu will throw a suspension light or error out)

I guess another way of inferring the answer would be to better understand the SLS integration. I know its (literally) coupled to the rear shocks but does how does the system interact with the damping setting (sport vs soft) per the sport button? Aka are the systems separate entirely in terms of control.

The SLS system seems to be purely hydromechanical with no electrical input from the Suspension ECU, but the suspension tuning may be different.

    On a wiring level:
There are minor wiring variations regarding the diagnostic ports.
There is wiring between the Suspension ECU and the ABS system. Are the signals the same?
There is wiring between the Suspension ECU and the Left Motronic ECU. Are the signals the same?
There is wiring between the Suspension ECU and the steering angle sensor. Are the signals the same/in the same range?

I see there are even EC part number differences between the M GT and M GTA
