I wouldn't be suprised. Edo have managed to make an mc12 corsa road legal and there's a clip on youtube of a plain german corsa driving the streets with number plate attached. I guess the problems would come down to noise, emissions, lack of wing mirrors, tyres and ride height. I guess all these can be changed though.

It is hard to do it, but with right amount of money and such good specialist as EDO COMPETITION I suppose it can be made.

Its amazing that its road legal! I think alot of FXX owners are moving their cars to switzerland for summer vacations. Atleast it makes sence spending $$$$$$$$$$ and not be able to drive the thing.

Maybe they issued plates for this FXX to make up for the sick colour it has! (joke ,but colour is sick!)

It´s for every car possible to do it street legal,
the cost of an FXX are 75.000,- € then you
can drive it legal in Germany.

The same price for an MC12 Corsa.

i'm still not convinced. we don't see a car on a normal street in a traffic, just parking directly from the truck. there were similar pictures in front of munsterhuis and noone claimed it'd be used on street. i think noone really would allow fxx to use it on the street as the exhaust tips are too high and they could smoke people, let alone lack of side mirrors... the only useful thing from this article is that we can be sure that car is in switzerland

In Mexico for example you can register an F1 car for street use or anything you want, there is no inspection, I have cars in Texas that are registered in Mexico and drive them on Mexican plates, this way you cant get a ticket, you dont have to pass inpsection etc...

There is a street legal MC12 Corsa; no reason to believe there can't be a street legal fxx

Does every new car in the US have to comply with the same safety regs, as in airbags, crumple zones etc? As in would a car like this be considered a "new" car?

Another side note, would you actually be able to fill this car up at a regular service station, or does it use a special nozzle?

^^^^ that was at the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic last year, there was no parking at the breakers hotel so all the trucks had to park down the street and they got permission to drive the race cars down to the show.
both the enzo and the FXX are owned by Preston Henn, owner of the swop shop.

They use dealer plates to get around the registration requirements.
