Swiss/Swedish 308 Spec

As I understand the Swedish market cars are similar to the Swiss spec, except the rear fog light. What does the different gear ratio mean for the driving experience for these cars? Would it for example impact the acceleration time up to ceetain speeds? Anybody drove both this and other euro cars and has some experience on if you feel any difference?
