Yoyo, took some pics of various cars from todays show. Enjoy. Ferrari 328 GTS at Shannons. Ferrari 575 Superamerica. Ferrari 360 Spider. Plus some other cars but I know noone here is interested in those http://www.coresworld.net/SydMotorShow05/ 200+ pics.
My vote for the most sensational car at the show is actually a HOLDEN. The Efigy concept car is an incredible interpretaion of the legendary FJ Holden of the 50's. Easily the measure of any custom stuff that I have seen out of the states. Well done !
And I didn't see this new model on the press release! New Model Or these! You perve you!! We're all proud......!
I saw it on the TV news. Absolutely brilliantly creative, totally stunning work. There is an enormous custom scene in the US where the best cars sell for millions. The Efigy is as good as ANY that I have seen from the US.
I was down there today and there was a lot of great stuff on dispaly. I loved the Holden concept, an awesome design and it certainly drew a massive crowd. The Lexus LC concept was beautiful too and the Exlero was just crazy - a huge barge for sure! Managed to get into a few vehicles including the new Range Rover Sport, Lexus, Merc CLS55, Merc S Class and plenty of other sports stuff. A very good day and when I get my pics sorted I will post some up!
Actually the most gob-smacking thing in the 328 photo was the guide price of the big Healy - $60-68k for a Healy! Bloody hell, you couldn't GIVE em away 20 years ago!
Just a few pics from the show! A couple of the Holden Concept, New Impreza, Toyota MTRC Concept, Confused Lamborghinis , Bentley Flying Spur, New Jaguar XK, 430, Superamerica and the mega barge Maybach Exlero! Agree with others, the Holden FJ concept car is well done. http://img184.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006604wv.jpg http://img362.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006622td.jpg http://img237.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006648xw.jpg http://img370.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006660pg.jpg http://img226.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006674nr.jpg http://img4.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006713ep.jpg http://img320.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006706ij.jpg http://img57.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006695hk.jpg http://img370.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006741qz.jpg http://img337.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006784gf.jpg http://img37.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006819ce.jpg http://img200.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00006805nq.jpg
You know that the general car industry sucks when the most comfortable car i sat in all night was the new SSZ ute. And to see that my New Liberty 3.0R- B spec is now offered with Sat Nav. And cant be retrofitted to mine, even though its 3 months old. Fkn bullshight
do you get lost easily ? use breadcrumbs it worked for Hansel and Gretel .......oh wait, it didn't, sorry, get the sat/nav
You missed the point.... Sat Nav = In dash TV that can be hotwired to watch porn on the run using a dvd player....
Then how do you drive - one hand is fiddling with the DVD controls, and the other is fiddling with......
For anyone interested, here are my pics of the Sydney Motor Show. Apologies for poor photos, I am no Dingo when it comes to car photography! Show was good, except far too many people there. Ferrari stand was nice, SuperAmerica was beautiful to see in the flesh. The Aston stand was the other highlight, the AMV8 is a beautiful car! Sydney Motor Show 2005
