I put them on my BMW 850i about a year ago - noticeable difference. The H1 bulbs used in the Cibies on my 308/GT4 weren't available then but I think they are now.

I saw the cheapest ones at Target. $37.50 I think for most cars, and over $45 at the online stores not including shipping.

Very noticable on the 348 in my opinion compared to the stock ones. I personally have them on all my cars that aren't HID because I like them.

I have been thinking of replacing the birthday candle lightbulbs in my 348 with the SilverStars. Man those things suck.

Say John, do you have the part number for the bulbs that go in the 348?

Can these be purchased in a 7" round? All I've seen are bulbs.

I just replaced the OEM sylvania bulbs in my F355 spider, because I thought one of the bulbs was bad - turns out the body harness connector had a bent ground lug and I wasn't getting ground on one side. There is a trick you need to know about replacing the bulbs, you have to protect the cowl piece ahead of the headlight bezel with duct tape because the removal tolerances are so tight that you will scratch the cowl piece removing the reflector bezzel assy when you are removing it to get to the bulb. DO NOT turn the Phillips head screws to remove the bezzle assembly, these are for aiming adjustment only. There are plastic retension clips on either side of the phillips screws that need to be spread to release the bezzel from the mounting.

By the way I like the effect of the silverstars - its better.

Ernie - I checked them out today and the low beams are 9006ST and the high beans are 9005ST. Its a mild pain as you know to change them out but trust me man the rewards are well worth the pain!

    Thanks John.

Almost anything would be better than the match sticks that are in right now.
