Ex-Rod Stewart. Replacement driver's seat which is actually a Lamborghini Diablo seat which is covered with red nomex. Stereo system, speakers and subwoofers mean the interior is modified with speaker holes. The car is a nice example but has also been repainted. Joe www.joesackey.com
Err, not exactly young man I am posting because I have personally inspected the car already and can attest to its disposition to the benefit of potential buyers here. Joe www.joesackey.com
I know Just love the Lambo connection in a significant Ferrari related thread! Only you Joe. Always a pleasure reading your posts!
Hi, Do You Know Where Rod Stewart Purchased His Enzo Free For Debate Everyone. Im Intrigued as to whether he bought it in the UK or In the states Love your posts gilroy...
Repainted?? That would kill it for me. I say 15-20% price break for the paint work. Plus the hacking up of the interior really makes you think twice. I say $395 sounds more realistic.
I do believe all the paint and interior work was done by Ferrari via Ferrari of Beverly Hills, but I cannot confirm that. Make no mistake, it shows very nicely. I can confirm however that the car was serviced by FOBH. Rod Stewart's name is on the car's records (I persoinally saw this). Original exhaust still fitted. Stewart sold the car to a Burlingame California gentleman who passed away thats why the car is now available. The $495k price is indicative of what m seeing. In fact Ive seen a private sale in excess of $500k. The car is becoming appreciated as Enzo Ferrari's benchmark Swan Song 20 years after its launch and so F40s are becoming sought after. Just think, if you like Rod Stewart, you can buy his former car, and drive it listening to "Do You Think Im Sexy" on his custom stereo. Whats that experience worth? For the right guy: Priceless. LOL. Joe www.joesackey.com
Custom stereo?? I was thinking why Rod would opt for a car of such basic qualities, Would u happen to know what cars he drives now Ferrari or not?? Gilroy.. www.freewebs.com/flash1232 (well,i looked at yours)lool
I assume youll be looking for Mick Jagger's 288 GTO then. At least HE picked it up at Maranello in 1985 personally Joe www.joesackey.com
Pretty interesting. Does he still own it? He doesnt seem like a car guy. Wonder what else he's owned...
There is a picture of him still at Maranello in the museum of him taking delivery of the 288 GTO which has "EE" (Escursionisti Esteri) plates on it presumably to drive it back to France (where he had a home). I dont think he still has it but I could be wrong. Joe www.joesackey.com
