How the hell did you see Syriana already...?!? i didn't know it was out...! Derailed was pretty good... It seemed pretty run of the mill to me until i figured out what was really going on... It was incredibly slow in the beginning, too... Overall, i'd say it was a good movie... i'm looking forward to Syriana though... In The Mix was okay... Lately, movies all seem to have the same basic premise... Good guys, bad guys, money, women, etcetera... Nothing really jumps out at me... The Ice Harvest was pretty good... "As Wichita Falls... So Falls Wichita Falls..."
Syriana is a leftist propoganda flick trying to prosthelize the myth that the middle eastern conflict is about oil. That stolid man of unimpeachable character "Looney" Clooney is in it....don't waste the money.
Derailed, the first half will put you to sleep but the second half is better, almost good. If you like that type of film rent "The Usual Suspects" make some popcorn and watch a masterpiece.

There are plenty of different simultaneous conflicts in the ME, not just 1 You have the 2,000 + year old battle of the Jews vs the Arabs Then you have several nasty dictators in Iran, Syria, & Saudi all balancing for power Then lastly you have our 20th & 21st C thirst for oil so its not just 1 thing Personally I'd like to see the US build a lot more nuke plants & alternative energy like solar or geothermal so we are not so dependent on such a Fkd up ultra violent region of the world

i'm certainly not looking for an argument of any sort, but i thought The Usual Suspects was brilliant... In my opinion - just my opinion! - i think comparing The Usual Suspects to Derailed is like comparing a Ferrari to a Pontiac Aztec... Just my opinion...
A valiant attempt at breaking up the political jibber jabber, but to no avail... Good show though; don't hang around adults too much, they'll erode your enthusiasm...
Thats hilarious. As if other countries were not massively more corrupt. Live abroad for a few years for a real eye opener
