Hey Guys, Ive been checking out an unfinished Titan T-51 kit. 40mph stall makes her very safe and 150 cruise so i could actually go places. Depending on what engine i decide to use i could go experimental or LSA. The construction to date is top notch with lots of upgrades. One of the things i really like about the T-51 is they seem to hold their value very well. I like the idea of being able to get out whatever it cost me to build it if i ever decide to sell. Im an A&P so maintinence and finish construction shouldnt be a problem.

    What do you guys think?

Rob, Ive got a friend in Texas who builds experimentals and he suggested the same thing. RV-12 is one heck of an aircraft and it does everything the T-51 does and in some ways does it better. Just doesnt have retractable gear. I hear you about the replica aspect of the project but unlike a replica Fcar everybody knows your not trying to build a real 51. The T-51's seem to hold there value better also but thats probably because of the look. Thanks for your input.
