On my way to completing the Electromotive Tech Gt install on the 94 348, but need some help please.

Needing the pin out for the plug at the tach. I am assuming the brown wire is the tach signal? Just need this to get gauges back in and such. can't seem to source a diagram online.

Thanks for the assistance. As mentioned before, will post pics and experience with install, but she runs great!

    Godspeed!

It's the center wire of the 5 wires in the plug. I'm pretty sure it is brown.

Glad to help. If you have trouble trying to get your application to work, give this video a try. I used that middle wire to put in a shift light, but to get the correct tach reading, I had to use an unusual scale on the device. Don't know if that's something you will have to deal with or not.

    Paul,

I was thinking the same thing. Since the factory utilized two ecu's , the tach is probably set up for a 4 cyl signal. The Tech GT is of course programed as an 8 cyl. So this will be interesting..................

Can't wait to see how this turns out! Will be awesome to get some aftermarket management options documented and tested.

Yeah, the settings for the shift light weren't exactly intuitive, so I had concerns you would encounter similar issues.
So the big question is why are you changing your fuel injection system?

Full story soon. As with many stories attached to Ferrari purchases, this is a good one!

John C, the car runs extremely well. Tech GT is set up presently with only crank sensor. See pic. No idle control, no cam sensor, no O2 sensor. Preliminary start up tune/ run was accomplished with a wide band O2 sensor temporarily installed.

Attached pic presents crank sensor mounting. and is reflective of the overall quality of the install. Custom mount which installs in existing pick up lug, positioning sensor precisely at 11th tooth on stock 60-2 wheel .

An interesting journey it has been, will share all findings and solutions!

    Godspeed!
