    Time to do it, maybe this weekend, 311 turns in 11 miles. If weather ok, I'm going, if not postpone. It would be great to have some other FCars there. Short notice? Have car, will drive. That's all I usally need. Call this a scouting trip; if anyone is interested in a latter trip that can be planned for, please post.

    I've been meaning to take a trip out there myself now that I live down here. Its only like 2.5-3 hours away right? Unfortunately I won't be able to head there this weekend, but I get random days off during the week sometimes. Keep us posted on any other jaunts to the dragon you decide to do!

    Wonder if we could convince those that are already planning to drive the mountain run into Daholonega (on Monday) to head to The Dragon instead? Would be quite a drive.

    I think that is next weekend? It looks like rain, so I may just do Asheville/Grovepark and do the Dragon next weekend with them. Anyone open for next weekend? Killboy said he will be in town to take pics. They are at VIR this weekend.

    OMG, that sounds AWESOME...! i could waste a brand new set of brakes in something like that...! How far is it from Nothern Atlanta, anyone know...?

    I live very close to the Dragon here in Knoxville, TN. Its about 40 minutes from my house. From Marietta, take I'75 North about 170 miles. Take US-129 from the interstate. When 129 changes to a 2 lane, you're getting close. When your driving in a forest along a river, it starts as soon as you leave the riverbank. You'll know ;)

    I'd go this weekend but I have too many family commitments. I drive it about once a month 'cept in the winter. Weekdays are best to avoid the bikers.
