Okay so I just purchased my first Ferrari, a 308. I come from the tuner world and while I don’t plan on modifying my Ferrari I do pay attention to people who modify their own. One thing I have noticed is a couple of cars have swapped the turn signals with the tail lights, I’m curious if this is just strictly a personal decision for aesthetics or if their is some pedigree in it. For example- LM cars back in the day, over seas cars or some other significant reason. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I always assumed it was just a mix-up when lenses were replaced?

And from the factory, it all depended on how many glasses of wine Luigi had with lunch that day.

Don’t read anything more into it than that.

Found a couple more cars like this Micheal Sheehan’s 308 race car and a 512 bbi that’s claimed to be a concours car. So it could just be a simple mistake or maybe just an aesthetic choice, but with the money and amount of detail going into these cars I highly doubt anything is left unnoticed, surely at a concours event you would lose points for this.

Seriously, dude. You’re trying to read way too much into this. It doesn’t matter to anyone but you.

I think you took my intrigue a little too serious, just thought it was a fun thing to ask

I hope you find more interesting matters for yourself

Good question, I think there was a stock position, but when switched just a mixup from either factory, owner, or intentionally by owner.

my advice? Go with what order you personally prefer.
