Hi all, keen to get your advice on the INTERIOR of the blue Tailormade 812 GTS: 1) Blue vintage leather with blue denim inserts plus eucalyptus grey wood (incl. trunk) vs. 2) Brown vintage leather with brown denim inserts and brown wood (incl. trunk) Thoughts and comments welcome! Thanks! That’s tough would be nice to see real photos. I have to go with the blue without actually seeing it. I’m not sure the brown would work on the steering wheel.
Since the exterior is blue I’m gonna go with brown! The blue interior may be lost in the blue exterior. Love your ideas, very original. Can’t wait to see the final product.
Is brown leather and blue denim inserts an option? Photos above are very dark, hard to tell, but normally blue interiors don’t do it for me.
You can’t do whatever you want - there are limitations on where you can put materials etc. I’m going to try and get my roof and buttresses painted a contrasting colour but I’m pretty sure they won’t do it. In my online session with the factory they wouldn’t and when I go to the factory for Tailor Made early next year and try again I’m sure the story will be the same!!!
What are the minimum spend requirements requirements if you spec the car through Tailormade? How about for Atelier?
Not sure that there is one in my experience but that may be a country specific policy thing. In Asia/Pacific where I am, I first did Atelier ages ago and that was just to get a couple of different leathers on a 458 Spider. Since then I’ve been doing Tailor Made and have never been told of a minimum spend. Once you’re in. The toy store and start playing with options then perhaps it’s irrelevant - the numbers add up quickly!!!
Love them both. I’m in the minority and like the blue with blue. What is the paint name? As others suggest the contrast of the brown is a play on the blue/ tan family. Your brown spec is like my TM grey/Bordeaux spec where the seats are the primary contrast looking back and the contrast of different materials adds a layer of contrast as well but more subtle than simply more colors. As others have said you cannot out everything anywhere as the sides and airbag surfaces have to be “automotive” materials Spend? I have inbound TM and Atelier but the issue is access to the colors and materials not the spend. As mentioned don’t worry about what it costs. Or do. If your going into these options, open checkbook get car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks Scott! The paint is going to be my own idea - just creating the new custom colour - waiting for the samples to arrive... true TM experience
Beautiful specification! I would go for the brown vintage leather. It creates a nice contrast with the blue exterior. I’m not sure the wood would work on the lower part of the steering wheel.
I would say brown as that's such a nice classical combination. With the exception of the wood on the streeing wheel; that's just a tad too much. They can also paint it piano black so you can avoid the CF which would be out of place.
stunning...the exterior color and stripe are amazing great job on the whole package, wish I had done TM for my GTS but at the time I didn't have the patience
Faultless. A truly wonderfull and timeless combination of exterior colour, livery and those oh so delicious seats and leather. I was too late with my TM appointment to be able to use this leather, so glad to see you're using it. It's not an exgareration when I say this could be my best alternative specs next to mine's!

Blue Pozzi Metallic which is a very rare dual layer paint and I am yet to see any Ferrari Painted in this colour. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
