Hey all, I finally broke down and bought one of these models, - has to be one of the best looking cars ever... but anyone else have one that seems to have the back wheels a bit off?

its like the clearance between the wheel and the arch are not the same all the way around...? I've looked at it and it also looks like the half shafs are at an odd angle??? any cure for this?

Yes, that is kind of noticeable. Can you bend it with some pliers?

Which reminds me of the Hot Wheels 1:18 288 I bought a few months ago, it is curiously unpainted in some details like the black in the belt line and some of the little trim pieces. I have to get the brushes and paints out and touch it up. Also the body paint is very orange-hued, looks like Rossa Scuderia instead of Rossa Corsa... but I'm not brave enough to try and strip the model and repaint it (I'd make it blue anyway!!).

Yes the wheels are in tight.. it is a great model, its just that one thing that bugs me... I have it in my office and look at it all day ... but that wheel just makes me annoyed...

This is easily curable with an engine out service..

I just checked mine and see the same thing, also the half shafts are at an angle. Really I wouldn't worry about it. It's a small detail on an otherwise great model.
