    Tonight I was in traffic with a friend sitting at a light on a busy street abotu the tiem all the bars were getting out. These two yokels in a big pick up were yelling **** at the top of there lungs at us from two lanes over and three cars back. They said "take the kit car home" "my 350 will smoke that" etc.

    Pfff, your 350 sitting on blocks in your front yard? Anybody else get p;ssed at this sh;t. I'm seriously still mad about it. We didn't even do or say anything back we were in such awe.

    What should I/What would you haev done?

    I ignore them....had it happen to me several times....i had a fiero pull up next to me wanting to race asking me how much it cost for the conversion.

    they as much as i ,made fun of a kit car... ive had people rag on me saying "nice kit car..sarcastically ,- then i laughed as i revved up the the engine, and they said ,,,oh sorry cool ferrari ...and came over to check it out..

    Correct! 7500 of Italy's finest revs usually changes their mind for them, and also makes them look dorks to anyone else who happened to be listening with interest :)

    You don't even have to look at them... or just grin at them and say, "don't sound bad for a kit though does it".

    Keep the honour to yourself by not responding. People talking crap like that are not worth it to get angry about... It's far more nicer to know that they are the ones making a fool out of themselves.

    Actually what you should have done was called one of those hotlines to report drunk drivers and given them a description of the truck and the plates, and tell them you saw them leave a bar and they were driving irratically. This would probably at least get them pulled over and maybe even a dwi charge. And if the were you can feel like a good guy for possible saving someones life by removing a dangerous driving from the streets, if they weren't oh well. :)

    Dude its Nebraska, most of the people in the state are incompotent especially as you go farther west in the state.

    I don't drive a Ferrari but, I'm also astounded how many yokels want to race for pinks (especially in Hastings :( ).
