Ok, I generally shy away from this sort of stuff, but I was out for Chinese food this weekend and got a kick out of something I saw there. Based on your year of birth they have a write up about who 'you' are, relate it to an animal, and tell you which other animals you are and are not compatible with. My question is: How do you and your wife match up? Does their method reflect your life experience?

Hey what the heck, let's make it a poll!

Here's the link http://www.ofesite.com/spirit/chinese/animal2.htm so ya gotta go there, look up your year of birth (and your spouses'), then go to "Compatibility" at the top and see if you two 'should' be together.

So, what did you find out?

Judging by your picture...you're a dog, man!

Seriously though, does this describe you then?

Rich in wisdom and charm, Snakes are romantic and deep thinkers. Their intuition guides them strongly. Snakes usually do things at their own pace, and when the moment is right, shed their skin and take up something completely new. It is for this reason that people avoid Snakes -- They can't handle their mistrust and secretiveness. Although sociable at times, they have a strong desire to be left alone. Snakes are actually subtle workers -- imperceptibly manuevering and manipulating until they are in the position to get what they want. Attracted to elegant and refined partners, they are deeply jealous and possessive when involved in relationships.

You're taking this crap way too seriously.

Like a horoscope, those things are worded to apply to 10 different personality types, or typical situations that one would encounter. Half of that description is true for me, the other half is complete BS.

WTF am I going to do with another 'snake'? There certainly won't be any "Mensa Mindgames" going on as I'm barely firing on all cylinders. :)

I'm a dragon and my wife's animal is a horse.....

"Horses and Dragons have great sexual relationships. A chemical in their brain binds their libidos together. If they can reach an understanding, they're looking at a great partnership."

Hmmm....I guess we're still trying to reach that understanding part.
