Thanks. Many visitors came up and said the same thing. I wouldn't have done it if it didnt have the Pelle colored interior. I have engaged in 10x more conversations than when I had the silver polished HRE's set on the car! Go figure......I'm glad it stimulates some emotion in enthusiasts. All in fun for sure.

Giovanni, Great photos of your car, both of them. The view looking forward alongside the engine intake and into your well-equipped shop is particularly artsy! I'm looking for a black GTSi, probably '81 or '82. I've observed and also read FChat posts that a black GTS is close to a GTB in appearance due to the black targa top which with a little imagination looks like a fixed roof. Also, I noticed in your lower photo that the rear quarter window is berlinetta style, i.e. the full-louvered window cover is missing. This makes the car look even more berlinetta-like. I see your car is a 1978 Euro version. Did the rear quarter windows come this way from the factory or did you remove the louvered window covers and install the small gas cap louver panels? If I do acquire a GTS, it would be tempting to convert the quarter windows to look like yours. I realize this is heresy ... but it would add to the beauty of the car to eliminate the "clutter" of the full-louvered covers. Yes Trucklite and I have to say I love them. The Sylvania that were in it before were awful. To the point that I didn’t like driving it at night all that much.
hi Steve. I hope you find your 308. Yes, my louvers are cut out, a fellow fchatter did that and sent those to me years ago, it really defines the appearance of the 308. I also installed computerized fuel injection (with 8 individual butterflies) to complement the webers. The car is light and nimble. In this view, you can see the aluminum radiator, I had the vent installed in the front bonnet like the later models, the qv hood does not fit this car, so I had a shop cut the original hood. What a great combo! I also changed the front lenses to the original clear type recently, I love it too!
