    I would look but I know nothing about recent Porsche model, last one I had was back in the 80's
    Better off like stated in the Porsche forum

    Where is it exactly in Los Angeles? I live in Glendale and if its not too far, I can do it for you. Or at least I can have someone go do it. If its a 996 from 1999-2002 watch out for the second gear syncros. 2004 and 2005 are the best of the 996s. 997 and up are OK.
