    Hi All,

I'm thinking of getting my license current again and doing some flying, but wanted to see if anyone is familiar with taking pets in light aircraft (4 or 6 seat piston singles or twins)?

I now have a small Chihuahua and would be concerned about his hearing in an aircraft. I don't think I could get him to wear anything to protect him without losing some fingers in the process - just wondered what others did with their pets?

Thank you - I will look them up but he's tiny - about 8lbs - so will have to see if they make them extra small and see if he will tolerate them.

I know there are different sizes and also some other products. But yeah, Amaya was 108lbs so she had extra large.

Wrapping cotton bandage material around the head would likely work.

My dog was asleep as soon as we were airborne. Same as me when I wasn’t flying the plane.
