That’s not right, my car is planted as long as tyres are warm. I would check the tracking as said before, but it is also worth checking the tightness of the wheels bolts, on my old car they became fractionally loose over time which upset the balance.
Yes. Page 130 in the manual I believe. Funny thing is that I tried it five or so years ago and then last week went to try it again and couldn't find it! I had to look it up just yesterday online.
Wheels and tyres arrived yesterday. very pleased with the look, as A.B. said they stick out more than the standard wheel therefore giving a wider track. I cannot tell you how the drive as I only have 2 on the car, the tyre place forgot to order new tpms and only had 2 in stock. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks nice. Make sure that the front tyres are the non-OE variant. Especially avoid the Mercedes spec tyres. They are not bad, but they are best combined with their matching Merc rear tyres. So they should not say N0 on the side and definitely not MO on the side. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
So, back to it! After amazing first impressions she was whisked back away from me to dealer (first class service to be fair) as it leaked.... I told them it would leak, I asked them to fix the leak but, on first run home, it rained and the next day I opened the boot to find Niagara Falls out of the rear high level brake light. One medium size London street jamming pickup onto covered trailer later and off she went. Arrived back yesterday (queue of angry Uber drivers behind when we unloaded) and back ready for France road trip tomorrow! Heading to tunnel tomorrow for late crossing and then Montrachet for a couple of nights then a week in Chamonix before Evian and heading back via Reims and Champagne. Some epic roads via Gorge Du Fier and doing Mont Blanc Tunnel (40 KM in first gear anyone!?) and up Pass Saint Bernard and then down other side and back through Albertville. See how she is on a cruise down motorway - aim is steady cruise and 22MPG (life goals) as 400 mile first leg. 1600 miles in all so good first outing. I also opened the exhaust valves permanently and goodness it makes a difference, not too loud cruising luckily and it certainly gets you noticed when you start it. Wonder what it’s going to be like starting to get off EuroTunnel....? I am still (and don’t shoot me) that scared by the performance. Decent run the other day to red line, flat in 3/4/5 and She was still pulling hard (that’s impressive as hell As GT-R would have started to run out of puff) but, oddly, it never felt ‘that’ fast. I might well just be nuts though. One thing is for sure it’s been a while since I have been in love - the styling is intoxicating and it’s the most stunning F car in past 25 years (355 before for me) and I suspect should (is) be a classic. It makes me very, very happy ;-) Will post some pics on the way down and from the mountains.

Driving a V12 Ferrari over an Italian Pass in glorious sunshine with great friends. I fell even more in love with her today. It’s an epic, epic car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rog tr would u say the GTR has same power in throttle as a F12....up to third gear....in the GTr and then it loses torque. I have a 2014 GTR....love the power ...but i have contemplating a f12.

So, first time it got a bit hairy yesterday. Great drive out to Norfolk to see the Zenos guys (might finally get mine finished soon) and heading back it had rained a little so coming onto A11 down slip road I had left it in Race by accident as I was watching to see when temps went green. The chap following me did message later to say although it sounded amazing he wasn’t sure that a 15 degree slip angle was really what I wanted to be doing on a slip road! I breathed on the throttle with a tiny amount of lock on (almost straight line) and it decided to get a bit tail happy (ok, a lot tail happy). Luckily had my best speedy reaction pants on and dab of oppo and backed out of it but note to self - don’t try using Race mode on cold tyres on slippy roads! Quite eye opening but heart rate came down after about twenty miles. Off to dealer tomorrow to hopefully get the sloshing water in rear window sorted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
