If you want a great reliable car go with a 328.

Samson- 308qv GTS are great ! (check my profile photo) I love mine, a blast to drive, especially without the top on warm days. Just buy a well sorted car(not the cheapest car you can find) that has had recent belt service. The fuseblocks are the weak link and for $100 you can get a much more durable set of fuseblocks from "Birdman" on this list(just search for him). I also changed all of the 20 year old relays as a preventative measure (another $100).
I bought my QV just 6 mos ago, it's been great. If anything does go wrong, they are the easiest Ferrari to work on.
    Good luck !

There's no significant drive train & suspension reliability difference between the QV GTAs & the 328. Earlier 2V 308s are also known for their reliability.

328 has more power, & end of the run had ABS brakes.

328 interior has electronic controls that may be hard to repair down the road. QV & earlier 308s have mechanical controls that are easy to maintain (lube annually).

Styling differences between 328 & 308s are subject to personal interpretation.

i'll second what someone said about buying a well sorted car. that's what i did and haven't had any problems in over a year. i paid more than average, but it was worth it.
