This was on the same site as the "what sports car are you?" test. Talent/Lifer/Mandarin Test Which are you?
no suprise here,
I'm a Talent!

You're a risk-taker, and you follow your passions. You're determined to take on the world and succeed on your own terms. Whether in the arts, science, engineering, business, or politics, you fearlessly express your own vision of the world. You're not afraid of a fight, and you're not afraid to bet your future on your own abilities. If you find a job boring or stifling, you're already preparing your resume. You believe in doing what you love, and you're not willing to settle for an ordinary life.

Talent: 77%
Lifer: 23%
Mandarin: 41%

Take the Talent, Lifer, or Mandarin quiz.

I would imagine most any Ferrari aficiondo, and especially an owner, would be a talent by their definition. Yes, so am I
Looks like I got Mandarin, whatever that is. It may have helped that I had only seen the movie Office Space in the list of movies. Talent: 51% Lifer: 15% Mandarin: 59%
Here's an article discussing the terms: http://www.tomorrowland.us/entries/2005-04-03.html Mandarin is basically an education-based leadership class, i.e. they accumulate degrees and/or credentials and qualify themselves over time to work in long-established institutions or professions. Since a Mandarin can be a doctor/lawyer/consultant and a Lifer can be a Fortune 500 VP or CEO, then it wouldn't be just Talent that can do well enough to afford a Ferrari; but how each gets there differs. P.S. I was 60% talent, 50% mandarin and 15% lifer.
Yes, but the Talent personality would far more be drawn to a Ferrari and what it symbolizes and provides than the other two types. They all can afford it, but the talent side of a personality will be the one motivated enough to get it.
