I posted a year or so back about this but never ended up going. I now have tickets and am going to the race in October. I was looking at lodging in either Birmingham, Pell City or even Oxford Alabama. I was leaning towards staying closer and taking an uber vs. staying further away and driving in. My question - is driving to the race a mess? is take an uber a mess? What should I do? Thanks. Jesse
If you're coming from the east, stay in Oxford. From the west, Pell City. And study a state map for possible back roads to the track. I think the best advice is to head to the track early, and prepare to wait awhile befor leaving afterwards.
