Hello I need informations about this Tamiya product. 1/12 Enzo Ferrari (Semi - Assembled Premium Model) Item #23205 How many items of this limited edition version will be sold in the world? the rarest collectibles Tamiya has ever sold. Thanks
no it was too much easy, in France it's about 2000 unit's !! only...but in the world I don't no? I ve got one, s/n 4282! I tried to got this information from the customer service but impossible to know, they didn't reply.
Many, many of these were made. The "rarest collectible" part comes in when referring to the ones that are signed by Mr. Tamiya. There are 200 of these. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=23205
have you got one? may be not, now I understand..... the quality of work is exeptionnal! Tamiya Enzo is the perfection!... if you don't know this word it's preferable to see inside a dictionnary.
thank you, i know that. one of them was sold by Ebay at 750 Euros and another 1400 Euros!!!!! to big!!! Tamya is selling Enzo Yellow 1/12.
Em, yes i do have one. In fact its the third one I've had and for you're knowledge smartass, all three have been majorly faulty in several ways. I currently have 10 1/12 scales and have had not one problem with any apart from the Enzo. It is cheap, detail may be good but unless it's sturdy and well put together then it is useless to display and own...Pieces have fallen off on arrival, the front wheel has collapsed, all sorts so I'm not going into detail. Do you in fact own one, if so, do you own a diecast metal 1/12 too? I may be wrong but i can not imagine you do as you would agree with me like many other owners of this model do! All the best, oh and by the way, exeptionnal is actually spelt exceptional........check the dictionary! Regards, Matthew Image Unavailable, Please Login
Matty... I also have one and think its a nice model, and I consider myself a pretty discriminating collector. It is very accurately depicted, proportioned, and executed. Its shortcoming is that it is fragile, but I feel the plastic body lends credibility. A diecast body, though more sturdy, just wld not seem as realistic or genuine IMO. PS - please dont correct my spelling/grammar
Heard about your horror story on your tamiya enzo...really feel sorry for you. It's really fragile and its QC sucks. But overall, it's still a very accurate and realistic model...i have one and i like it and yes i do have a few QC problems on this model but most of them on mine are solved. But hey...here's replacement for you. Kyosho's 1/12 Enzo if you haven't seen it. [img/]http://www.minicarshop.jp/report/mf2005/big/P1010191.JPG[/img]
I knew the Kyosho was coming, but thats the first pic Ive seen of it... is it a prototype of the model or actual production? http://www.minicarshop.jp/report/mf2005/big/P1010191.JPG Wheels dont look so hot, and the vent window post (on door) looks super cheesy. PS - I do like the front bonnet support struts. Thats something I have envy over the 1:18 BBR piece.
ditto on the QC We sold about a dozen and almost everyone hated them. It was a model we refused to carry after we recieved our one and only shipment. On the other hand, the Kyosho F40 and the orignal Tamiya F50 were extremely popular
What is the objective of a model car ?? Being as much similar as the original one. I think the Enzo Tamyia 1/12 clearly hit this : the shape of the body is beautiful. What is the interest to have a metal body for a kit car which doesn't have one in reality ?? Blame Tamyia for this is totally nonsense. And what about the critics about the fragility of the model ?? I have assembled mine in only 20 minuts and I broke NOTHING !! You can't blame this model only because you are awkward. About the 1/12 Kyosho F40, why nobody realize that the nose was TOO MUCH flat if you compare with the real ??? Sorry, but I find it ugly. Sometimes, I can't understand our Ferrari models lovers !! I think you may find that it is not the "awkward" model builders causing the damage most of the time. I have had three were the boot just does fit right, other problems being licence plate fallen off, headlight cover out, front right suspension collapsed and unfixable, pieces fallen off the front brake system, bonnet protuding about 3mm from nosecone therefore not flush blah blah blah....... I have had years of experience of model building and collecting. This model is bad believe me! I dont give a toss if it is plastic, metal, whatever. I just care that when it is displayed, it looks good and extremely realistic which it would if it was in one piece! I believe all the problems are due to the fact it is plastic as they are mostly fitment problems etc. I was going to sell it and buy the Kyosho but i agree with the comments above, the wheels etc just make it look like a hotwheels car.
I read all message above, i m agree with every people about your arguments. you have a pretty collection Mattymouse... only one thing, if you don't like the finition of the Tamiya Enzo can you explain me why you put it on the top of your collection at the same livel of F50 and F40? ok Enzo it s fragil, but is not a toy! do you know the difference between a child toy andd adult toy? the price... bye
1. Because its a Ferrari and they should be together 2. Because people are less likely to reach the top shelf and break it or actually find out that the wheel falls off etc. If there was one model i didnt want folk to see or touch, its the Enzo, but for all the wrong reasons unfortunately.....
Is that really a pic of the finished Kyosho 1:12? Those front wheels are just completely wrong! Wrong profile and wrong shape! I thought Kyosho were supposed to be better than Tamiya? I have the red 1:12 Tamiya but haven't got round to building it. I HAVE to have a black one when that comes out, so my decision is whether I should eBay the red one or simply have both...
I suppose it must be but surely there has got to be dude who works at Kyosho and says "hold on a minute, aint no-one going to be buying this cos it looks crap. We have a HUGE opportunity here to overtake Tamiya on this model, lets get it right" I hope its just a prototype but even then it should be looking good, if not better as most real prototype do.
i have 2 of these one on display and the other in a box for prosperity and desirablility. In 10-20 years time these will be worth a great deal of money especially as they are already making money on ebay!! topguntone
2 Enzo!! great! exellent, Today I bought the F40 Kyosho 1/12 is exellent and very strong product ( not fragil) i can made the comparaison with Tamiya preparing for Christmas F40 racing by Kyosho (light version) and may be for 2006 an ENZO!!!! I thing it will be a best seller! sure !
