    Hello,

    I am planning a spirited, scenic drive Sunday afternoon. We will meet at the mall and take I-275 North to exit 54 and drive the roads out there.

    Date: Sunday, March 9th
    Time: 12PM SHARP (Fueled and ready to drive!)

    Desoto Speedway, typically first or second Sunday of each month; it's 9 miles east of I75 on SR64, easy to find. I'm racing through Tri City Kart Club http://tricitykartclub.com/RacingInfo.html This will be my first one so I don't know what to expect. :) I'm doing it as a prep for racing my Juno at Barber with PBOC at the end of the month.

    David, how'd the drive go? Hopefully all is well.

    I have to say, I had a great time doing my first kart race today. I placed 2nd of seven in the TAG class during the feature race. A spin with four laps to go kept me from challenging for 1st.

    good luck w/carting, sounds like a lot of fun and great experience!!

    The drive went very well thanks! Had 3 nsx's. drove 130 miles. weather was perfect!!

    I have a friend with a popular Cuban restaurant here in Tampa that has Ferrari of Central Florida use his lot for displaying Ferrari's during the annual Italian Festival in Ybor. Would anyone be interested in a gathering there for a display and traditional cuban breakfast; cafe con leche (cuban coffee) with cuban toast, and from there driving to a destination somewhere in FL or even a loop? Don't know where, but we could organize some sort of event out of this. I'm sure providing enough people would be interested. PM if interested.

    I'd be interested, and could probably drag a few other local Lambo owners out. I've been trying to go on Dave's drives for the past few months and it's just always been a weekend I'm at the track or out of town, etc.

    I'm getting new exhaust, big brakes and new tires on my spyder in about 10 days so I'll definitely want to air it out. :)
