I have a brand new set of OEM tan mats, never installed. They came with the 1995 F355 Spider 6-speed that I recently bought, and they still had the original Ferrari factory protective plastic over them. Because the aftermarket mats that were in the car when I got it were pretty worn, I thought I would install them. The plastic film had turned yellow and was really stuck to the rubber in spots, but I was able to remove it with no adverse effects. However, before actually installing them, I changed my mind and decided to go with aftermarket mats, as I thought these original mats might be more valuable to someone wanting to restore an F355 to original condition.
